The Legends League Cricket 2022 T20 tournament will start from September 16 to October 8, 2022. The organizers have announced the schedule for the season along with the venues where the match is going to be played.
The first match of the tournament will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The match will be played between the India Maharajas and the World Giants. The captain of the India Maharajas will be BCCI President Sourav Ganguly and the captain of the other team will be Eoin Morgan. The main motto of this match is to celebrate the 75th Independence day of India.
Other than Kolkata, the remaining matches will be played on the grounds of New Delhi, Cuttack, Lucknow, and Jodhpur. Moreover, the venue for the playoffs and the final match will be announced later.
Jodhpur and Lucknow will conduct two matches of the Legends League Cricket 2022 T20 tournament while the remaining grounds will conduct three matches from September 16 to October 8, 2022.
Ravi Shastri is the Commissioner of Legends League Cricket 2022 T20 tournament and remembering his old times, he said “We are coming to mesmerize the cricketing fans at these wonderful cricket grounds. This festival season we will be presenting the cricket carnival with Top Legends competing for the first Legends League Cricket Title.”
The co-founder and CEO of Legends League Cricket, Raman Raheja informed us that, for the Final Match of this season, we are looking at Dehradun.
Considering the official statement, it was asserted that the players across 10 countries will be participating in this upcoming tournament. Moreover, 4 teams will be participating in this tournament and approximately 15 games will be played this season.
Raman Raheja said “The wait is over for our fans and viewers. They can plan for the matches with the announcement of fixtures. We are soon announcing our ticketing partner along with the dates for the availability of tickets online. With the line up of iconic players from the 10 nations in a new format, I am sure fans will experience powerful performances on the pitch and a great season this year.”
He added “We are not getting any players from Pakistan for the upcoming season. We will soon be adding some more international players to the Draft. And all our Legends would be playing a full season with us and not miss any matches for any other League or commitment. For the final match of this season, we are looking at Dehradun.”
